Direct Mail - Another name for advertising mail sent to targeted markets. It can be any mail class, but it is usually Standard Mail (A).

Direct Mail - Another name for advertising mail (printed ads, letters or other solicitations) sent to targeted markets. Direct mail can be any mail class or product, but it is usually prepared as Standard Mail pieces. Direct mail can be the primary advertising and sales vehicles for a business, or it can supplement and enhance other forms of advertising and sales activities.
