Intelligence Analysis - It denotes systematic examination of any combination of relevant data, Information, and existing Knowledge for applicability or significance, and the transformation of the results into actionable Intelligence that will improve planning and decision-making or enable the development of strategies that offer a sustainable competitive advantage. The most profitable or beneficial analysis calls for creativity and insight; an ability to look beyond the obvious. Sometimes referred to as Strategic analysis.
