Job Control Language (JCL) - definition(s)

Job Control Language (JCL) - The language that assigns and controls specific data processing projects for mainframes. JCL is, essentially, a kind of all-purpose programming language that allows the execution of programs written in any programming language: Cobol, Assembler, etc.
