viewpoint - Form of abstraction achieved using a selected set of architectural concepts and structuring rules, in order to focus on particular concerns within a system. ISO-10746-2 In an RM-ODP based description of a multi-tier, multi-network architecture, the Enterprise, Information, and Computation viewpoints describe a system in terms of its purposes, its content, and its functions.
