The most widespread of these are: Anyin External (610 000 speakers); Attié External (381 000 speakers); Baule External (2 130 000 speakers); Dan External (800 000 speakers); Central Guéré (317 500 speakers); Guro External (332 100 speakers); Jula External (1 470 000 speakers) and Cebaara Senoufo External (862 000 speakers).

Addresses are also often written with the post office box and city information on the same line:

Any address written in a non-native language will be written in French. Deliveries are made mainly to post office boxes (Boîte Postale, or BP). A sorting code is written both before the post office box number and after the settlement name.

Though postal deliveries are only to mailing addresses, street addresses will be found for the use of couriers, visitors etc. As not all streets are named, these may often be descriptive and unstructured. Examples:

Ivory Coast telephone numbers have no area codes. On 31st January 2021 Ivory Coast switched from an 8- to a 10-digit number system. 01, 05 or 07 was added in front of existing mobile numbers and 21, 25 or 27 was added in front of existing fixed numbers. The 0 must be dialled when calling mobile numbers.
