NETHERLANDS ANTILLES
NETHERLANDS ANTILLES

The Netherlands Antilles ceased to exist on 10th October 2010. Sint Maarten and Curaçao have become autonomous countries within the Kingdom of The Netherlands, as Aruba now is. Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius are now special Dutch municipalities. This chapter has been retained temporarily for legacy purposes during the transition to the new situation.
