Case Label - A long strip of heavy paper, cardboard, or other material that shows names or numbers and individual addresses assigned to a lcarrier route. It is placed below the separations on the carrier case. Also, a tag of heavy paper or cardboard on a clerk distribution case that shows post office, state, or ZIP Code. It is placed above the case separation or box as a distribution guide. (Also called header.)
