Palestinian addresses, when written in Latin-script, have the format:

   Recipient name 
   District name 
   Thoroughfare name 
   Region name 
   Postal town[ ]POSTAL CODE 

For example:

For mail routed through Israel, post for the Palestinian Authority areas should contain the full address in Israeli format, with extra lines containing “Gaza Strip” or “West Bank”, and with the extra line “Via Israel”, in this way:

The Palestinian Authority introduced a postal code system on 1st January 2021. The new postal code has the format:

   [P]9999999 

and is written to the right of the postal city name. The first digit refers to the governorate, the second to a postal sector within the governorate and the third to a postal zone within that sector. The final four digits indicate the final delivery point. At the current time using the first four characters of the code (P999) is sufficient for postal routing purposes.
