Intersection Connector - definition(s)

intersection connector - [geocoding] A character used in address data to indicate that an address is located at an intersection. For example, in the address "S. Huntington Dr. & E. Clark Blvd." the ampersand (&) character is the intersection connector. The intersection connector delimits the address into two parts and assigns intersection searches to the address.
