Node - A point of interconnection to a network. Normally, a point at which a number of terminals or circuits attach to the network.

node - [data structures] In a TIN, one of the three corner points of a triangle, topologically linked to all triangles that meet there. Each sample point in a TIN becomes a node in the triangulation that may store elevation z-values and tag values.
