Package - definitions

Package - A package is the term used to describe all of the elements delivered to the recipient as part of a Direct Marketing_ effort. For example, in a direct mail program this could include the outer envelope, the sales letter, the product sheet, the order form, and the reply envelope.

Package - A group of addressed pieces assembled and secured together to make up a basic unit of bulk mail for processing purposes. (Also see bundle.)
